        CHARLES KOPPEL (ACTIVE 1853-1865) "THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE" PATINATED-BRONZE REPOUSSE PLAQUE, front engraved with Declaration of Independence scene after John Trumbull with patent imprint reading "ENTERED ACCORDING TO ACT OF CONGRESS IN THE YEAR 1858 BY CHARLES KOPPEL IN THE CLERK OFFICE OF THE / DISTRICT COURT OF MARYLAND", reverse shows the full text of the Declaration of Independence surrounded by ornate floral ornamentation, hollow gilt-brass frame joins the two sides together.
