    From the expert opinion of PhDr. Nadězda Blažíčková-Horová: "The presented Study of the Mountains is an undisputed work of the painter Adolf Kosárek, perhaps from the last period of his life, painted sometime between 1858 and 1859. Kosárek spent his last summer in the Krkonoše Mountains due to his worsening tuberculosis, but he painted only smaller studies motivated by Krkonoše nature.
