General Electric vintage oven control panel with chrome faceplate, push button controls, and dual analog timers, removed from the Miami residence of architect Morris Lapidus (1902 - 2001). Known for designing the Fontainebleau, Eden Roc, and Americana hotels, Lapidus shaped Miamis postwar resort style. This panel was later exhibited in Promises of Paradise: Staging Mid-Century Miami by the Bass Museum of Art, which toured nationally in 2008.
