      ROBERT LARSEN (1923 - 2002, America): Mixed Media and Oil on Panel depicting an atmospheric and calm landscape painting in the style for which he is best known, signed on the face of the board: 6"h x 10"l; Housed in an artist made, shadowbox frame: 11.75"h x 12.75"l. BIOGRAHPY: Robert Larsen studied at the Kansas City Institute of Art and Design and Detroit School of the Society of Arts and Crafts. He attended the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida, where he became a faculty member and was the recipient of numerous regional and national awards. He was represented by several distinguished art galleries in Sarasota Florida, the Murray Lebwohl Gallery, Hodgell-Hartmen Gallery, Corbino Gallery and Blue House Gallery. His work can be seen on permanent display in Sarasota, Florida at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall where it is part of the collection of the Fine Arts Society of Sarasota and his papers reside at the The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art Library.
