Born in Canton, China in 1944, Chinese artist David Lee is recognized around the globe for his breathtaking and imaginative paintings. An artistic prodigy from age 4, David Lee became the youngest person in history to win the Chinese National Painting Competition, cementing his life’s pursuit as a full-time watercolorist. Since dedicating his life to his art, Lee has been recognized with prestigious awards from China, Switzerland, Honolulu, and Japan.
Artist David Lee was raised in Hong Kong and received his B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of Taiwan. He continued his studies at the Far East Academy of Art in Hong Kong and Kaoshung University in Taiwan.
Lee's paintings, which can be found hanging in the University of Taiwan’s permanent collection and the National Museum of Taiwan, embody impressionistic views of nature. You can find enigmatic and impressionist watercolor paintings for sale at online auction to enhance your home.
