Color etching, aquatint, and roulette, on paper with full margins; signed, dated and numbered 11/30 in pencil along the lower margin; 250 x 378 mm; 9¾ x 14 7/8 in. Mangold was raised in Queens and received her BFA from Yale in 1961. While there, she met Robert Mangold. During her early career she focused on interiors, trompe l'oeil, and began her characteristic use of masking tape. Later, she turned her attention to the environment and natural world, painting individual trees around her home in upstate New York.
