Domenico Marchettis Kupferstich zeigt Antonio Canovas berühmte, in den Vatikanischen Museen befindliche Skulptur des triumphierenden Perseus mit dem Haupte der Medusa. Als Vorlage diente Marchetti eine Zeichnung von Giovanni Tognoli. Ganz ausgezeichneter, scharfer und leuchtender Druck vor der Löschung der Widmung an Bossi, mit dem vollen Rand.
