      Anne Steele Marsh (New Jersey/New York, 1901 - 1995) framed folk art oil on canvas painting depicting a group of males swatting bees in a field, signed to lower right "Marsh". Wood frame measures 18-1/2" in height with width of 22-1/4" and depth of 1-1/4" while sight image measures 15-3/4" in height with width of 19-3/4". This piece does not come with certificate of authenticity but style and signature are consistent with other known works by the artist. In overall good condition, all measurements are approximate.
