James Joseph Marshall, 1936-2010, was an American photographer and photojournalist, best known for his iconic images of musicians during the 1960's and 1970's. He was also the chief photographer at Woodstock. Image is stamped on reverse with Jim Marshall San Francisco California Copyright. Overall it is in excellent condition. Provenance: Descends directly from the Albert and Sally Grossman Estate of Woodstock, New York. Albert was a rock legend, entrepreneur, and manager for acts like Joplin, Dylan, and others. His wife, Sally, was a model and record producer, who famously appeared on the album cover, Bringing It All Back Home. After Albert's death, Sally continued their lifelong dream of running a recording studio, Bearsville Records.
