Robert Bledsoe Mayfield (AMERICAN / LOUISIANA / ILLINOIS, 1869 - 1934) oil painting on wooden panel board depicting the portrait of L. Booth, a 19th century statesman. Signed to lower right in the paper in thegentleman's hand. Mounted in a gold gilt wooden frame. Board measures approx. 11" height x 8 1/8" width. Measures approx. 14 1/2" height x 11 5/8" width overall including frame. Provenance: Acquired from a SouthFlorida private collection. Appraised by David S. Miller in 2002 for a value of $2,000.00.
