MUSEUM INTERIOR Signed and dated "E. Meneghelli. 76" l.l., New York canvas stamp on the reverse. Oil on canvas, 12 x 9 in. (30.4 x 22.8 cm.), framed (and presented in a shadow box). CONDITION Good, scattered craquelure. N.B.: Meneghelli exhibited several compositions depicting museum interiors at the Boston Art Club between 1879 and 1889. The views included the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Louvre.
