Printed by Fequet and Baudier, Paris. Published by Gérald Cramer, Geneva. A superb, dark and evenly-printed impression of this scarce, early woodcut. The artist''s first print; Moore (1898-1986) made this print, one of only two woodcuts in his ouevre while teaching at the Royal College of Art, London. He didn''t embark on his long and prolific career as an etcher and lithographer until the late 1940s. Cramer 1.
