Sheet size 12" x 17", good condition. 2) "Ocean Ploughing", 1886, signed lower right in plate. Published by George Barrie, sheet size 12 3/4" x 17". Shows minor tanning on edges. Otherwise good condition. 3) "The Last Hope" drypoint after Ronner, George Barrie publisher. Signed in plate lower right. 11 1/4" x 13 1/4" sheet size. Very good condition.

              An uncommon first state line etching on thin laid Japan paper by Peter Moran (England, 1841 - 1914). Titled: "Harvest at San Juan" 1883. Signed in pencil below print and "PM" in print on lower rt. Publication: Koehler, Sylvester R., ed. "Original Etchings by American Artist" (Cassell and Company, 1998). An uncommon issue on Japan, with signature, in superb condition. Conservation framing/French matting/museum glass. Provenance included. The youngest of four Moran brothers, Peter was born in Lancashire, England, and came with his family to America in 1844.
