The waterways and landscapes of Florida were the primary subjects of artist Sam Newton's oil paintings; after moving there from his home state of Georgia in 1962. He often painted on scene, paying special attention to all the little details that existed in nature. Sam Newton's paintings show his expertise with blending color and his dedication to realistic interpretation in his artwork.
As an avid traveler, artist Sam Newton often created his pieces while on the road. His vivid depictions of the Everglades, as well as the marshes and rivers of Florida, are proof of his environmental study of the areas he painted. The value of Sam Newton prints depends on the quantity of the particular print made, as limited edition prints are always of more value than those in mass production.
