Paul Popper


Paul Popper (born before 1933 and died 1969).
Paul Popper was a Czech photojournalist, magazine editor and publisher from a Jewish family.
He started to collect a photographic collection. And because of his friendships with numerous Berlin photographers and not at least because of his own wide-ranging journalistic relationship with many European photographers and his many journalistic talents, he has created a photographic and literary agency. Paul Popper founded Paul Popper Ltd. in 1934, which became better known as Paul Popper Photo. With his pronounced business acumen, he acquired entire photo collections, including the 1935 images of the Antarctic expedition photographer Herbert Ponting. . It flourished for nearly three quarters of a century. Paul Popper Ltd is now one of UK's oldest and largest independent image libraries
