    A signed and numbered 4/25 engraving entitled "Musk Ox" by Alaskan artist Danny Pierce (1920-2014). The striking black-and-white piece captures the power and texture of a solitary musk ox, rendered in heavy crosshatching and dense tonal fields. The animal’s curved horns and thick coat dominate the composition, while the play of light and shadow introduces abstract shapes beneath its feet, adding visual depth and symbolic contrast. Numbered, titled, and signed lower margin by the artist, the print is matted in cream and housed in a thin metallic frame. Measures approximately 24.5" x 30.5" overall, with a sight view of 18.5" x 23.75". An identical example is held in the permanent collection of the Tacoma Art Museum.
