CheffinsAcquaforte e bulino. mm 315x206. Foglio: mm 342x235. Firmata in basso a destra "Piet.°Antoni De Petri Sculp". L'incisione raffigura San Bernardo degli Uberti in piedi con il bastone pastorale, mentre con la mano destra indica la Madonna col Bambin Gesù in cielo tra nuvole e angeli. In basso due angeli allontanano una figura demoniaca. Nato intorno al 1060 a Firenze dalla nobile famiglia degli Uberti, Bernardo ereditò vasti possedimenti che donò a parenti, amici e al monastero cittadino di San Salvi, dove giovanissimo entrò nell'ordine Vallombrosano. Divenne abate e in seguito generale della congregazione. Urbano II lo creò cardinale, lo fece vicario pontificio in alta Italia e legato a Canossa nei domini di Matilde. Vescovo di Parma per trent'anni, vi morì nel 1133. I Vallombrosani lo considerano "terzo padre" con Benedetto e Giovanni Gualberto.
