Artist Terry Redlin grew up in South Dakota. After losing a leg in a motorcycle accident in his teens, he received a scholarship from the state to attend art college. He moved to Minnesota in 1956, and Terry Redlin's prints of that time included commercial art and illustrations done at Browne & Bigelow. By 1979, he had quit his work with commercial art to pursue painting landscapes and wildlife.Terry Redlin's paintings of Americana wildlife, flora, and sunsets, done in rich earth tones, grew his reputation.
