All is delineated in brilliant color with lush brushstrokes, rich passages of impasto, and wonderful light effects. Raised on a horse farm in Preston, Idaho, Rich's early fascination with horses has remained with him throughout his career. In Rich's words, "Every painting starts with the horse for me, the way the light catches its gesture and movement." A captivating painting by the one and only Jason Rich that truly transports the viewer to the lifestyle and landscape of the American West, set in a custom museum-quality frame that complements it beautifully.
