Romanelli Presented with a period green composition marble plinth measuring 20 x 21 inches. PROPERTY TO BE SOLD TO BENEFIT ONE COMMUNITY, DALLAS PROVENANCE: Collection of Mrs. Toni Chapman Brinker and the late Mr. Norman Brinker, Dallas. Structurally sound overall with various nicks and areas of "sugary" surface with light discolorations, accretions, small rust spots and other evidence of outdoor installation; Urn and cup are later additions; Previous restoration throughout, including repairs to top of vessel and proper right hand, goblet and fingertips of left hand, circular ¼-inch fill repairs on face at eye/nose and three locations on proper right arm, paint reinforcement with partial loss on vessel base, shoulder and sternum, 3-inch fill and chips to edges. 1-inch chip to socle and small chips to other edges. Repair to cattail stalk proper right. 4-inch loss to foliate edge, proper right. Scagliola pedestal structurally sound with small surface losses and pitted surface. HID01801242017
