        Joanna Sarapata was born in 1962 in Warsaw - Polish painter. In 1984-87 she studied at L'ecole Nationale Superieur de Beaux-Arts in Paris, where 11 of her paintings were accepted into the school archives. During her studies she made several collective exhibitions with students of the Academy of Fine Arts. In 1986 she won the main prize in the student competition for the Paris Opera. After graduation she moved to Saint Tropez, where she exhibited and created for the next ten years. For 4 years she worked for the Cartier company, where she was offered an exhibition at the Cartier Foundation, where 4 of her paintings were exhibited. During her work at Cartier she met her future clients - Elton John and his agent - John Raid. In 1994, Polish Television made a biographical documentary "Joanna Sarapata" about her and her work directed by Hanna Kramarczuk. In 1995 she exhibited her paintings at the Carré d'Or Hotel at the Champs-Elyées where one of her paintings was purchased by Michael Jackson. She had her first own exhibition in Gustavia on the island of Saint Barthélemy. In 2001 she moved to Barcelona, where she lived and worked for the next 9 years. Currently she creates and lives between Poland and Spain.         Joanna Sarapata was born in 1962 in Warsaw - Polish painter. In 1984-87 she studied at L'ecole Nationale Superieur de Beaux-Arts in Paris, where 11 of her paintings were accepted into the school archives. During her studies she made several collective exhibitions with students of the Academy of Fine Arts. In 1986 she won the main prize in the student competition for the Paris Opera. After graduation she moved to Saint Tropez, where she exhibited and created for the next ten years. For 4 years she worked for the Cartier company, where she was offered an exhibition at the Cartier Foundation, where 4 of her paintings were exhibited. During her work at Cartier she met her future clients - Elton John and his agent - John Raid. In 1994, Polish Television made a biographical documentary "Joanna Sarapata" about her and her work directed by Hanna Kramarczuk. In 1995 she exhibited her paintings at the Carré d'Or Hotel at the Champs-Elyées where one of her paintings was purchased by Michael Jackson. She had her first own exhibition in Gustavia on the island of Saint Barthélemy. In 2001 she moved to Barcelona, where she lived and worked for the next 9 years. Currently she creates and lives between Poland and Spain.
