Probably original period gesso frame. Height of art 15 3/4 inches (40 cm.) X width of art 25 1/2 inches (64.5 cm.). NOTE: Although a trained painter, Fred, aong with his brothers, Charles Philip and Edward, the 3 Slocombe brothers became famous for their etchings at the end of 19th Century London exhibiting widely at the Royal Academy and producing etchings for other artists not as gifted.
