A stunning lithograph of the Henry VII Chapel at Westminster Abbey by British artist Robert Tavener. Tavener's oeuvre focused primarily on architecture in Oxford and Cambridge as well as Sir Christopher Wren's churches and his country's impressive cathedrals. In his words, "My subject matter is a personal interpretation of the richness, variety, beauty, and the underlying relationship with the past, of our landscape and building." Interestingly, Tavener created his prints on his own 1882 Albion Press which he kept in his home studio. From the 1950s, Tavener produced numerous illustrations for children's books, and gained prestigious commissions from organisations including London Transport, Shell, the BBC, Penguin Books, and the Radio Times. His work is now held in over twenty-five public collections in the UK alone, including the Victoria and Albert Museum.

He also taught at St Martin's School of Art for one day a week. He did much illustration work as well as commissions for organisations such as Shell, the BBC, and London Transport. He was a senior fellow of the Royal Society of Painter/Printmakers, and his work is held in the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Government Art Collection.
