Condition B+ / A-: creases and abrasions at edges and in image. Paper. "This Led Zeppelin concert is famous for a behind-the-scenes scuffle that sent some of the Bill Graham staff to the hospital and further deepened the dislike that Graham had for Led Zeppelin and its personal security force" (Classicposters.com). This poster also represents the band's last live U.S. concert before the remainder of the tour was cancelled. A futuristic and surreal feat of design, this is the rare original printing.

ARTIST: RANDY TUTEN (1946- ) SIZE: 14 x 21 in./35.5 x 53.3 cm PRINTER: DESCRIPTION: A sea of the dead—or rather, the Grateful Dead—shove their way through the audience to the front of the stage, where an even grimmer skeleton has been bound by ball and chain. The Dead, as it turns out, had just been busted for drug possession in New Orleans, and in the spirit of rock 'n' roll community, this benefit concert was held to raise funds to bail them out. Getting arrested had another benefit: it gave rise to the now infamous line in "Truckin'," "Busted, down on Bourbon Street." (Modern; Music; Psychedelic Rock; American)

Janis Joplin and Her Band. 1969.

          Est: $1,000 - $1,200

Artist: RANDY TUTEN (1946- ) & D. BREAD Size: 14 x 21 in./35.6 x 53.3 cm Oh yeah, time to get Kozmic. This poster marks Janis Joplin's triumphant return to San Francisco, no longer held by Big Brother and the Holding Company, now alongside the incredible keyboardist Stephen Ryder and groovy saxophonist Cornelius "Snooky" Flowers. This brilliant poster has a photo montage of Janis – check it out, her shoulder is another image of her singing – inside a neon Music Master jukebox, with face-melting acid headline text overhead. The whole thing sits within a drawn Art Deco frame. Bill Graham hated this poster because he "couldn't $@%! read it"! Well, you can try just a little bit harder, and "Raise Your Hand" when this item comes on the block. (Rock)
