Printed by Associated American Artists, New York. A very good impression. Weidenaar was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and studied etching at the Kansas City Art Institute. Upon returning to Michigan, he married the painter Ilse Eerdmans in 1944. He taught drawing and painting at the Kendall School of Design and worked as an illustrator.
