White Estate' stamp verso (39 x 57.5cm and smaller; unframed) (7) Condition Report: Time staining with discolouration and fading. Light foxing. Pin holes, rips, tears and creases to edges. One of the smaller paintings of a mountain landscape has a larger tear to the upper left corner. The painting of a road leading into a village has numerous small holes throughout the sheet. The painting of villas in a mountain landscape numbered 139 has a 9cm tear in the lower left corner and several small holes in the lower right corner.

Pin holes to corners and edges. Faint dirty marks and smudges. The signed black chalk drawing of trees has a diagonal folds in the lower left and upper left corners. The pencil drawing of trees and a woodcutter has a vertical crease through the lower centre and foxing verso. The pen and ink drawing of barns is faded. Three of the drawings have small pieces of tape applied to the edges.

    Ethelbert White (British, 1891-1972) 'The Wood Engravings of Ethelbert White' by Hilary Chapman, with an introduction by Peyton Skipworth, including two wood engravings: 'A Corner of the Forest' and 'Forest Pool', from an edition of 200 printed and published by The Fleece Press, Wakefield, 1992, in original slipcase (print sheet 30.5 x 25cm and 25 x 32cm; unframed) Condition Report: The book and slipcase appear to be in good condition. The prints have a liitle foxing starting to emerge and a few tiny scratches. They are hinge mounted to mounts with small pieces of tape applied to the back of the upper edges. Foxing to mounts.

Condition Report: In our opinion the printed areas appear to be in good condition. Margins are slightly uneven. Light handling creases. A couple extremely faint spots of foxing and a little discolouration starting to emerge to the margins and extreme edges of 'The Weeping Ash'. Initials are printed.
