Roseberys• GUY WORSDELL (1908-1978) BLACK SWANS & CYGNETS signed l.r. titled on gallery label verso watercolour 35.0 x 47.0cm / 14 x 18 1/2in Guy Worsdell (1908-1978) began his studies at the Central School of Art under Bernard Meninsky. He then had further training in wood engraving from R.J. Beedham from 1936 to 1938. As a painter and printmaker his subjects were usually landscapes and railways. He illustrated books, including three for the Caravel Press.
