    PEINTURE VERTICALE à l'encre et couleurs sur soie, figurant trois personnages et un paysage. Signée "Shunkyo" en bas à droite (Yamamoto Shunkyo, 1871-1933) appelé aussi Kinemon. Montée en kakemono, avec sa boîte portant le nom de l'artiste et un titre évoquant les paysans qui sont dans la neige et n'ont pas encore vendu leur bois. Japon, fin de la période Meiji (1868-1912) - début de la période Taishô (1912-1926). A SCROLLED VERTICAL PAINTING, INK AND COLOURS ON SILK, SIGNED SHUNKYO LOWER RIGHT, JAPAN, LATE MEIJI PERIOD - EARLY TAISHÔ PERIOD. DIM. 192 X 56 CM (75 9/16 X 22 1/16 IN.) NOTE Yamamoto Shunkyo fut l'élève de Bunkyo Nomura et de Mori Kansai (dernier peintre de l'école Mori - 1894). Yamamoto Shunkyo fut une figure importante des cercles artistiques de Kyôto, membre du Comité Impérial d'Art et du Teikoku Bijutsuin. Il enseigna au collège des Beaux-arts de Kyotô, et fut un des fondateurs de l'école moderne de Kyôto.
