Biography

Since 2005, Bargain Hunt Auctions has offered the best in antiques, fine art and collectables to buyers worldwide from its auction house in Thornleigh, Sydney. Often featuring art, antiques, furniture, jewellery, and unique treasures that can't be found anywhere else, sales at BHA are always exciting.

Owned by Mark and Veronica Owens, the husband and wife team has more than 20 years of experience in antiques and auctioneering. They made headlines around the world when a single page of the Quran sold for an incredible $74000, and nationally with their principled stand against the sale of ivory.

“Vintage, Collectables and Estate” auctions are held every second Saturday and the select “Quality Collection” auctions are held every fourth Sunday. BHA also hold regular "Speciality" auctions that cover a number of areas of interest including successful sales of important Chinese and Asian artefacts, and significant artworks.
