Brightwells Auctioneers & Valuers was established in 1846 and services the UK, Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.

The auction house specializes in fine art, vehicles, horses, machinery, agricultural livestock, and residential and agricultural land. In May 2015, Brightwells, in conjunction with Retraining of Racehorses, staged the first ever public auction of former racehorses being sold into the sport and riding horse market.

In 2004, Brightwells built a new head office and sales center at Easters Court, Leominster. In addition, they hold regular auctions at eight other venues.

Brightwells offers estate agency for residential property, farm, and land sales. As well, they perform chartered surveying and land management for urban and rural landowners. Brightwells provides comprehensive valuation services for horses, antiques and fine art, agricultural property, and wine in addition to probate, inheritance tax, and insurance services.
