David Dike Fine Art
Established in 1986 in the Arts District of Uptown Dallas, David Dike Fine Art specializes in late 19th and 20th century American and European paintings. Though it focuses on Texas Regionalist and Texas Landscape painters, the gallery offers a mix of traditional and distinctive works for both the new and the seasoned collector.
David Dike Fine Art also offers consulting services for those looking for guidance on shaping their collection, acquiring a first piece, or framing and conservation. Anne Kelly, an ISA Accredited Member appraiser, also provides art appraisal services. She has been a practicing member since 2012 with a focus in fine art. Highly regarded nationally and recognized as an authority on Texas art, David Dike himself is a member of the Fine Art Dealers Association (FADA) and the Dallas Art Dealers Association (DADA).
Highlights from the successful 20th Anniversary of the David Dike Fine Art Texas Art Auction include a cover piece selling for almost double the high estimate: Everet Spruce’s “Broke Tree,” which he painted in 1950, sold for $94,000. A Jose Arpa sold for $75,200, and a work by Fort Worth artist Maurine Cantey sold for $24,675.
In addition to holding the Texas Art Auction, the gallery participates in regional and national art fairs and symposium every year.
