Dennis Auction Service combines three generations of auction expertise. The auction house's main focus is antiques and decorative arts, with a main gallery devoted to these sales categories. Other sales showcases include postcards, coins, vintage clothing, furniture, and other unique items. Weekly public auctions are held every other Friday morning. Dennis Auction Service hosted 28 live online auctions on Invaluable.com in 2014, and is a platinum member of the site.

The auction house is noted for its high-end March auctions, featuring fine pieces from the 18th, 19th, and 20th century often including furniture, art, rugs, and more. Notable sales include the Otto estate, Paul Sormani furniture, Dresden porcelain, and Tiffany art glass.

Dennis Auction Service specializes in antiques and decorative arts. The auction house also offers significant collections of jewelry, household goods, tools, furniture, and more.

Services & Staff

Auctions are held bi-weekly on Friday mornings at 8 a.m. Buyers may bid on site, via absentee bid, or online with Invaluable.com. Catalogs are posted online each Thursday during preview hours starting at 4 p.m., and mailing list subscription is available.

Appraisal services for personal, insurance or state needs are available, as well as complementary sales value assessments. Dennis Auction Service also offers estate management service, bringing expertise in liquidation, storage, management, and sales of estates both small and large. If you wish to sell, items may be offered during Friday consignment auctions. Real estate auction services are available as well.

Owners Frank and Steve Dennis are third generation owners of Dennis Auction Service. President Frank Dennis serves as auctioneer in the main gallery, and also serves as a licensed real estate auctioneer and certified appraiser.
