Central America and The King of Siam Set represent a mere glimpse into the historic numismatic collections handled by the auction house. Recent noteworthy sales include that of a 1795 S-79 R7+ Reeded Edge, PCGS graded VG-10, which garnered $1,265,000; a 1907 Double Eagle, which realized $1,210,000; a 1794 C-7 R5, PCGS graded MS-67 Red & Brown (CAC Approved), which brought in $1,150,000; a FLOWN LUNAR MODULE Timeline Book (Apollo 11, 1969), for $253,000; a lady's diamond and platinum solitaire ring, for $88,800; a Kingdom of Persis, Autophradates II (early-mid 2nd century B.C.), Silver Tetradrachm (16.8 g), for $38,775; and an autographed letter signed by President Thomas Jefferson (1818), for $14,400.
