Founded in 2006 by auctioneers Deba J. Gray and Serena Harragin, Gray’s Auctioneers are Northern Ohio’s leading auctioneers & appraisers of Fine Art, Antiques, Jewelry, Watches and Decorative Arts. The auctions at Gray’s take place live in our auction showrooms, and simultaneously online. Offering multiple ways to bid, Gray’s caters to the global art market. Many noteworthy works of art have passed through Gray's since the house's inception including: Montague J. Dawson (1895-1973)The America's Cup Race 1962; Weatherly and Gretel, Oil on Canvas for $102,000 including buyer’s premium; Andy Warhol (1928-1987) Moonwalk (Pink), 1987, Screenprint on Lenox Museum Board, for $120,000 including buyer’s premium; and John Kochs' 1971 The Party which realized $204,000 including buyer’s premium .

Auctioneer Deba Gray has more than 25 years of experience in the auction industry, previously working at three other houses, including Sotheby's where she served as Auctioneer and AVP of Property & Estates. Auctioneer Serena Harragin brings over 20 years of experience in business to her love for art and passion for creating a modern auction experience. Deba serves on the board of the Cleveland Institute of Art and has been a licensed and bonded auctioneer since 1989.
Gray's works closely with banks, attorneys, trust and estate officers, and family members sourcing the lots for auction. The showrooms are open for several days before an auction for exhibition preview, and the appraisal team are available to provide condition reports on all lots in the auction. Gray's offers online, live, telephone and absentee bidding.
A boutique company with auctioneers licensed by the State of Ohio, Gray’s holds live auctions every month which reach the world through our global web presence and our global online partnerships. Our USPAP certified appraisers provide USPAP compliant appraisals for insurance, donation or estate tax purposes.
