James Thompson is a family firm of auctioneers, established in the ancient North-western market town of Kirkby Lonsdale in 1945, now run by the second & third generations.

We can carry out a comprehensive range of valuations on fine art and chattels, and organise a monthly auction of silver, jewellery, ceramics, glass, furniture and frequently a selection of curios.

We also have a bi-monthly picture sale, with a particular leaning towards the Lakeland artists.
