About Kamelot Auctions

Biography

Kamelot Auctions burst onto the international marketplace in 2004, and has been setting sales records ever since. Kamelot occupies 40,000 square feet in a renovated 19th century brick three story building in the heart of Port Richmond in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kamelot caters to a robust cosmopolitan audience, conducting between 10-15 auctions annually, and partnering with Invaluable.com for over thirty auctions, to date..

Kamelot launches national advertising campaigns to highlight each of its auctions, as it features over 800 lots of the finest in American, English, Continental, and Asian decorative art and furniture, in addition to choice jewelry selections, silver items, architectural and garden antiques, sculptures, rugs, and more.

Kamelot consistently boasts new international records and surpasses the expectations of its consigners, often by as much as four to five times the high estimates. Recently, a seventeenth century Italian burled commode garnered more than $15,000, far exceeding its top estimate of $3,000. Additionally, a bronze sculpture crafted by renowned Russian-Jewish artisan Mark Matveevich Antokolsky (1843 - 1902) fetched $253,000, again setting a new world record.
