Biography

Lakeland Coin Auctions was set up a year ago in response to a growing demand for auctions of coins in the North of England. We have had four sales now, the first two in Penrith, and subsequently in Kendal, which have encouraged us to carry on in the same manner. We provide a quality service both for buyers and sellers of coins, with cheaper buyers premium and sellers commission than the London sales, due to our lesser overheads.

We have decided to carry on at The Riverside Hotel, Kendal, and will probably hold future sales there and not in Penrith.

Our auctions are publicised worldwide via the internet, and our hundreds of established worldwide customers (We have been dealing in coins for over 11 years and have built up a large and enthusiastic client base), and via the trade press, local press and at antique fairs etc. If you are interested in either buying from us or selling through us, please contact us.
