Matsart Auctioneers & Appraisers, established in 2006 as a result of a merger between the established firms Matsa for Public Auction (founded 1970s, formerly of Ramat Gan) and Lucien Krief Fine Art Gallery (founded Jerusalem). Owned by the renowned artist, and world art expert Lucien Krief.

Located at the heart of Jerusalem between the new and the old city in Jerusalem. Matsart holds several auctions each including works by Israeli and International fine paintings, Judaica, Silver, Art Deco Art Nouveau, Jewelry and sculptures.

In 2013, Matsart broke records with the sale of a painting by an Italian-Jewish artist. The painting sold for $8.6 million, shattering the previous record of $1.2 million in 2010.

Matsart also offer a full line of Estate services including free in-house consultations, appraisals and estate liquidation.
