THE
SHEFFIELD SALEROOM
BY
ROAD -- FROM THE SOUTH
Take the
M1 to junction 33 and at the roundabout take the A630 (signposted Sheffield
Centre) approximately 6 miles to the "Park Square" roundabout, stay in the right-hand
lane and take the fourth exit A61 North (signposted University and Barnsley)
follow the one way system (past the Law Courts) to "West Bar" roundabout (Fire
Museum directly opposite) stay in the middle lane and go straight over (Gibraltar
Street) for approximately ½ mile. The Saleroom is a large red-brick three
story building called "The Nichols Building" on the left. You will need to continue
forward to the traffic lights at the end of the road, bear left and almost immediately
left (after the second set of lights) is a sharp left turn into "Doncaster Street"
(cobbled road) continue a short way to the end (crossroads) and turn left onto
"Shepard Street". The Nichols Building is at the bottom on the left. Parking
is on-street in the area (between 9.30am and 4.30pm). There is a small council
car park directly opposite the Saleroom and one before the JE James Baby Care
Centre.
BY
ROAD -- FROM THE NORTH
Take the
M1 to junction 36 and then turn right onto the A61 towards Sheffield . Follow
all the way to Hillsborough (past the Sheffield Wednesday football ground) and
keep going towards the city centre, stay in the left hand lane as you approach
the the traffic lights going up the hill (towards the Universities and hospitals)
with Supertram on the right, turn immediately left onto "Doncaster Street" (cobbled
road) (signposted for Shalesmoor on a yellow sign), continue a short way to
the end (crossroads) and turn left onto "Shepard Street" (you should park around
here). The Nichols Building is at the bottom on the left. Parking is on-street
in the area (between 9.30am " 4.30pm).
