Biography

The Book Barn is located in Wells, Maine from late May to Late October and in Edgewater Florida from early November to mid-May. My wife and I have been in business since 1985, in a brick & motar store whose physical property we sold in 2007. We continue to offer books, autographs, paper, and music online at various sites. We consider our business to be a reader's as well as a collector's inventory. We have an approximate inventory of 2,000-5,000 items---including both hard cover & paperback books----in addition to movies, music. autographs, & prints for both the reader and collector. My wife and I also author articles on investing for income on Seeking Alpha.com, e-books, as well as publishing scarce out-of-print Public Domain titles in e-book format on Amazon Kindle publishing. Our e-books are also available through Draft2Digital.com for Nook, iBookstore, etc. readers. Our e-books are mostly non-fiction in the area of 1) U. S. Civil War, 2) U. S. Indian wars; especially those in Texas & on the Great Plains, and 3) Texas History; both as a Republic and as a state. Our e-book titles can be found by a Google or other search of my name---Harry Polizzi---for any voracious readers that may be interested.
