Established in 1832 and operating independantly since 1992, Tring Market Auctions is now one of the best known provincial salerooms in the Home Counties. In addition to the Fine Art Sales in which we are pleased to offer the more important items of antique furnishings, paintings and ceramics, we also hold our renowned regular Saturday Sales of approximately 2000 lots of general antiques, collectables and household effects.
Saleroom Operations
With a full Calendar of regular sales throughout the year, we attract a great many entries which enables us to offer at our fortnightly sales some 2000 lots of antiques, collectables and general goods. We deal with all types of goods and chattels from single items to complete house clearance, from this source we locate many of the more important entries in our Fine Art Sales.
You will find it is our aim to ensure a friendly and entertaining atmosphere within our salerooms, yet one that is conducive to business. There is always advice and assistance available to help with all your enquiries.
Purchase Price
The purchaser shall pay the hammer price together with a premium of 15% of the hammer price, (adjusted for VAT as necessary).
The premium attracts VAT at the standard rate and is payable by all purchasers.
