Vickers & Hoad is a family run auction business based in Waterloo, New South Wales Australia. Through online auctions, Vickers & Hoad has extended their auctioneering services worldwide and hopes to make a mark internationally. Vickers & Hoad has conducted more than 175 auctions in the past, with 30 auctions hosted in 2014 alone. One of the most prominent sales by the auction house happened in 2011 with the sale of a bronze Zeus figurine. It sold for an impressive $225,000 and was part of one of the largest collections encountered and sold by Vickers.

These auctions are either timed or live and are divided into several general categories, including Antique and General, Directors' Selection, and Onsite House and Estate auctions. Additionally, Vickers & Hoad will also offer Special Interest auctions when the inventory allows for it. Special Interest auctions attract the most attention online and may consist of military artifacts, tribal art, special antique furniture pieces, and more.
