Pascal McNamara has been a full-time antiques auctioneer since 2008 (though his involvement with antiques began as a teenager at Woodward auction rooms in Cork many years earlier as a porter) , bringing ten previous years of senior management experience in Human Resources, Business Development and Business Journalism to the fore.
He was a founding member of Artistic Alliance (artisticalliance.eu), a not-for-profit exhibition service for emerging artists, lectured at the Cork College of Commerce for art and antiques students before moving to Wokingham to lead Martin & Pole, an established local auction room in 2012 and later spend six months at Willingham Auctions in Cambridgeshire before returning to Berkshire.
A Business Economics honours degree graduate of University College, Cork Pascal also earned a PRINCE2 (UK) Project Management qualification in 2006 and accreditation from the National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers (NAVA) in 2014
His main areas of expertise include art, furniture and silver, especially Irish provincial silver having organised bi-annual specialist sales at Woodwards in Cork.
