Read the Terms and conditions to avoid disputes before or after an auction.
1. All property is sold "as is" and all sales are final. All property is described to best of our knowledge; however, neither we nor the consignor(s) make any warranties, express or implied, with respect to such property as to physical condition, quality, rarity, importance, authorship, provenance, medium, period, origin or estimated value of any sold lots. No statement whether oral or written, whether made in the catalog or advertisement, bill of sale, gallery posting, announcement or remarks by staff or the auctioneer, shall be a warranty, representation or assumption of liability. All measurement and weights are approximate.
2. On line bidders will be the sole judge of value and as to authenticity, value and/or other determining factors. On line bidders will be the sole judge of whether an item being sold as an artifact is Prehistoric, Historic, Post Historic or Contemporary.
3. It is also noted that on line bidders should not be the first bidders until the auctioneer establishes a starting bid normally by a floor bidder. If you have any question concerning this, please call George at 618-444-6889 for clarification.
4. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer is the buyer. The auctioneer is the sole determinate as to who is the successful bidder. Once the gavel falls, the successful bidder immediately assume full risk and responsibility for the lot purchased.
5. We require on line bidders to make sure the shipping address furnished is the correct address to avoid having to redo shipping click & ship labels.
6. Payments: Invoices will be mailed to the successful bidder normally within three days of the auction. Your payment is DUE UPON RECEIPT OF YOUR INVOICE, not to exceed two days to avoid disputes, and actions to suspend buyer from participating in other auctions. Due to uncontrollable nature of email deliveries, if you have participated in an auction, you are encouraged to inquire regarding whether or not you were a successful bidder. Non-receipt of an email does not preclude you from your responsibility for payment. If we do not receive payment within two days of the invoice being sent, Lebonick Auction Service reserves the right to move forward with any and all remedies available to us, including reporting your bad debt to the live auction provider and/or related entities and charging your credit card on their file. Lebonick Auction Service accepts VISA, MASTER CHARGE, AMERICAN EXPRESS and PAYPAL. Checks are acceptable when agreed upon by the auctioneer. Money orders and Cashier Checks are acceptable. You are required to contact the auctioneer by calling 618-444-6889 (George) to make credit card payments
7. Buyers actual shipping cost & insurance will be added to the invoice, only when a special box is used, that cost will be also added. There are no handling charges.
8. AUCTIONEERS NOTE:
Regarding COA's, it is our observation that documents accompanying an artifact are exactly what the author states, just an opinion and the buyer should regard such document as such.
