1462. MANUSCRITO: (GUERRA SUCESIÓN CASTELLANO-ARAGONESA). ENRIQUE IV: 3 DOCUMENTOS CON LA FIRMA REAL DE ENRIQUE IV DE CASTILLA Y CONDE DE BARCELONA. Primer documento: ´a todos e qualesquier capitanes e gentes de armas de cavallos e de pie d´estos mis rregnosque por mi mandado estades en el rreyno de Aragón e en el prinçipado de Catalueña e qualsequier capitanes e cavalleros e gentes de armas e conçejos de qualesquier çibdades e villas e logares e castillos e fortalesas de dicho rregno de Aragón e prinçipado de Catalueña que por mi e en mi serviçio e obediençia estades». Fechadas el 24 de Noviembre de 1462 en Agreda (Soria). 1 hoja de papel manuscrita en letra cortesana. Folio menor. Firma manuscrita ´YO EL REY´ y del Secretario Alvar Gómez de Ciudad Real. Sello de lacre en el dorso. Dobleces reparadas con papel por el vuelto, afectando al texto pero permitiendo la lectura. Mancha de cera. Segundo documento: El rey notifica a alguien (a quien lo lea) que envía el comendador Juan Fernández Galindo, de su consejo, y que le crea como si fuese él. También le hace saber que envía a Fernando de Ribadeneyra, también de su consejo y de su plena confianza, y al caballero Álvaro de Mendoza.
Tercer documento: El rey notifica a alguien (o a quien lo lea) que envía a Aragón y Catalunya el comendador Juan Fernández Galindo, de su consejo, y que le crean como si fuese él. También se hace saber que envía a Fernando de Ribadeneyra, también de su consejo y de plena confianza, y al caballero Álvaro de Mendoza. El Principado de Cataluña fue hostil a Juan II de Aragón casi desde el comienzo de su reinado en 1458. En 1462, los catalanes ofrecieron el trono a Enrique IV de Castilla, que el 11 de Agosto fue proclamado Conde de Barcelona. Su primer acto fue mandar a Juan de Beaumont, Prior de Navarra, y a Juan de Torres, al frente de un pequeño ejército para socorrer Barcelona, que había sido sitiada por Juan II. Pero el apoyo de Luis XI de Francia al rey aragonés y la debilidad de los castellanos hizo que éstos tuvieran que abandonar el principado. El conflicto en el que había desembocado la sucesión al trono entre Juan II y Enrique IV se agravó, pero las negociaciones hicieron que Enrique IV firmara un acuerdo con la infanta Isabel por el que reconocía que ella podía heredar el trono siempre y cuando él pudiese acordar su matrimonio, desechando así a su propia hija Juana como heredera. Este pacto se firmó en 1468, es el Tratado de los Toros de Guisando (aunque no se conservan documentos, solo referencias posteriores). Cuando Isabel II se casó con Fernando de Aragón, invalidó el acuerdo y Enrique IV declaró heredera a su hija Juana.

Terms and Conditions

1st. The starting price is the minimum price for which a lot can be adjudicated. This price should be understood to be the reserve price and under no circumstances will the lot be adjudicated for less than this.

2nd. The total invoice will include 20% (except in coin auctions 18%) on the hammer price plus shipping and/or insurance cost. The shipment of the articles adjudicated will be invoiced with a general nature, independently of the condition or residence of the winner of the bid, with VAT INCLUDED, covered by the Special Regime on used goods, objects of art, antiques, and collectors' items. Internet bidders will be charged of an additional 3% (Live Bidding fee)

3rd. If you are unable to attend the auction in person, please send in your bid as early as possible. The lots are sold at the lower price possible and not at the total of your bid. For example, a lot with an asking price of 1,000 for which you bid 3,000 and for which the highest bid other than yours is 1,500, will be adjudicated to you at the following bid (as per our bidding chart), in this case, 1,600. Some lots can have a reserve price imposed by de vendor. In case two bids are similar then winner is the one arrived before. The minimun bid for lots "libres" is t€.

4th. Bids must be made in EUROS. Any bid in other currency will be changed in â'¬UROS. Payments have to be made in â'¬UROS. The amount of the payments in other currency, will be subjected to the daily Bank exchange rate.

5th. Purchasers buying by post must make payment on receiving the invoice. On receiving the money, we will send the lots by post at your expense and risk, unless the purchaser has given other instructions.

6th. SOLER Y LLACH reserves the right to group together, at its criteria, two or more lots of the current auction, as well as to withdraw any lot.

7th. The auction house regulates the auction and in the case of any dispute between buyers, its decision is final.

8th. AUTHENTICITY. The authenticity of all the lots sold by SOLER Y LLACH is guaranteed. Any claim regarding authenticity should be sent to SOLER Y LLACH within 30 days from the date of the auction. Any claim made after this time will not be considered.
Lots described as collections or groupings cannot be subjected to any claim.

9th. The lots like: books, manuscripts, maps, posters and photography, will be auctioned in the state in which they are found, no claims will be accepted concerning restorations, damages, breakages, etc. Although the descriptions have been made with the greatest of care, purchasers should check out for themselves before the auction that the description coincides with their personal opinion about the state of the lot.

10th. PAYMENT IN INSTALMENTS FOR PURCHASES SUPERIOR TO 500 €. In this case, the purchaser should pay 30% of the total on receiving the invoice, and the rest within a maximum period of six months in equal monthly quotas.

At the end of each month, SOLER Y LLACH will charge the purchaser's account 0.50% interest on the outstanding balance.

The lots will remain with SOLER Y LLACH until payment has been completed. In accordance with part 8, the purchaser loses all rights to lodge a claim 30 days after the auction, and during this time he may examine the lots at SOLER Y LLACH.

11th. The lots adjudicated may be collected from our auction rooms at C/ Beethoven, 13, 08021 BARCELONA within 15 days after the auction.

12th. The lowest bid accepted for those ots with starting price "libre" is 5 euros.

13th. SOLER Y LLACH reserves the right of admission into its auction rooms and to refuse, at its criteria, any purchase order.

14th. OWNERSHIP. The lots will remain the property of the seller until payment has been cleared, which includes paying in cheques or any document.
