The featured tanzanite is set within two tiered diamond bezels supported by diamond set shoulders, completed by two millimeter wide band. Identified with markings of "K14". Condition is new, good workmanship. Containing: One prong set rectangular step cut natural tanzanite, measuring 8.70 x 6.10 x 3.70mm, approximate weight of 1.88ct., clarity is slightly included, type I, medium dark, very slightly grayish, bluish violet color, (GIA bV 6/3), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. Graded in the setting.Tanzanite is a very rare gemstone that is only found in the country of Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967.
