Description: Paraenesis Ad Henricum Quartum Franciae, et Navarrae Regem Christianissimum. by Guilielmi Blanchi Episcopi Grassensis et Venciensis. Published in Rome in 1595 by Domini Basae. This is a poem to Henry 4th of France and Navarre by William Le Blanc Junior who was the Bishop of Grass and Vence in France. Henry became a Catholic so he could become King of France. he was subsequently assinated by a mad monk. Book is in contemporary vellum and measures 20 x 27 cms. The title page has an illustration and at the rear there is an advertisement for another work by the same author. the binding has been repaired and has remnants of the original ties.
