A reincarnation of the Eiber company, Suecia was a Swedish manufacturer which built motorcycles from 1927 to 1939 using engines sourced from Blackburne, JAP and MAG. It’s thought that Suecia designs were influenced by Sarolea, Belgium’s first motorcycle brand.

Suecia’s models included a 1936 500cc side-valve JAP engined machine with a 3-speed Sturmey-Archer gearbox, and a 1937 Super Sport with a 490cc OHV JAP engine and a 4-speed Burman gearbox. Although receiving an order from the military in 1937, the company ceased production shortly after the outbreak of WW2.

This Suecia is powered by a 350cc single-cam MAG engine with two exhausts. It has been refurbished at some point in the not too distant past, and, with a fine patina, it is wearing its age very well. This is the first time that this handsome vintage motorcycle has been brought to auction.
