All sales are final and refunds will only be given in exceptional circumstances.
Automatic Credit Card Charges
Please note that the credit cards of winning bidders that are on file in Invaluable accounts may be charged 4 days after an invoice has been sent if the winning bidder has not already made payment or contacted us.
We accept all major credit cards* via WePay including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
We also accept personal checks, money orders, PayPal or Venmo. Personal checks will be held until fully cleared before items are shipped.
Payment must be made within (7) days of the close of the auction.
*A 2.9% Processing Fee will be added for payment made via credit card on totals of $1,000.00 or more.
Shipping & Handling
We pack and ship in-house!
Every item will be packed with the greatest of care. It is very important to us that our customers are happy with their experience and we also understand that shipping expenses can quickly make a great deal into an expensive one, so we do everything possible to keep shipping costs down for our customers. We are happy to combine shipping on multiple lots, where possible.
Upon winning your item(s), you will receive an invoice with our in-house shipping and handling fees included.
All shipping fees are calculated upon completion of the sale and are based on the following:
1. Total value of all items won
2. Insurance costs
3. Packaging costs
4. Buyer's ship-to address
5. Weight, both physical and dimensional
All packages will be subject to a small packing / materials handling fee.
Regency Antique Books reserves the right to determine all shipping and handling costs. We also reserve the right to adjust the initial shipping fees provided if deemed appropriate.
We offer a full in-house shipping service! We ship via USPS Media Mail, First Class, or Priority Mail; in certain cases, we may ship via UPS or FedEx. All shipments are fully insured and require signature confirmation.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (Outside USA)
Packages shipped internationally will have full value declared on shipping form. International buyers will be responsible for any customs fees incurred.
After payment has been made in full, we will pack and ship your purchase within 7-14 business days.
YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS
We will ship to the address as it appears on your invoice, unless you inform us otherwise immediately upon your receipt of the invoice.
All sales to buyers in the state of Arizona are subject to a 8.6% sales tax fee which will be included in the invoice.
Each auction is subject to a 20% Buyer's Premium, to be added to the invoice total.
Condition of Items
All items are sold "as is" and neither the auctioneer nor the consignor makes any warranties or representations of any kind with respect to the items, and in no event shall they be responsible for the correctness of the catalogue or other description of the physical condition, size, quality, rarity, importance, medium, provenance, period, source, origin or historical relevance of the items and no statement anywhere, whether oral or written, shall be deemed such a warranty or representation.
Prospective bidders should inspect the photos and details of merchandise thoroughly before bidding to determine its condition, size and whether or not it has been repaired or restored.
We welcome any inquiries of this nature and will do our best to clarify any questions potential bidders may have before participating in an auction.
