Description: East Asia, Chinese, Qing dynasty, ca. late 19th century CE. A fabulously detailed and colorful porcelain piece comprised of a bowl with nicely modeled abstract foliage adorning the walls and two adorable squirrels - the golden hued critter perched atop an emerging tree branch and his grey companion walking upon the rim - both with endearing long, bushy tails. In China, squirrels symbolize longevity. Size: 4.875" W x 4.5" H (12.4 cm x 11.4 cm)
